Information+ 2027. Three days into information design and data visualization.

Information+ is a biennial conference that brings together researchers, educators, and practitioners working across Information Design and Data Visualization to grapple with the questions shaping these rapidly-evolving fields. The conference opens up interdisciplinary conversation on how data and information take shape within social, political, and environmental contexts. As an in-person gathering, it aims at reinforcing community ties and cross-disciplinary exchange.

Information+ 2027 will be held in-person in Milan, Italy, from 7 to 9 June, hosted by the Design Department of Politecnico di Milano, which actively promotes interdisciplinary approaches to teaching and research in information design, data visualization, and related fields.

Information+ 2027 welcomes submissions that embrace critical insights, provocations, theories, practices, and experiences within information design and data visualization and their applications. We invite contributions from design practitioners as well as voices from the humanities, sciences, and other fields, academic and non-academic alike.

Contributions fall into three categories: Presentations, Workshops & Activities, and Exhibition Pieces, open to proposals from any relevant area of research, practice, or pedagogy. Full guidelines and submission links go live in October 2026.
